Beijing Museum of Fine Art

Architecture: Concept

CLIENT : Sky Ocean
LOCATION : Beijing, China
TYPE : Art Museum
SIZE : 294,931 sq.ft / 27,400 m2

As part of the greater Beijing Art City masterplan, the Beijing Museum of Fine Art is one of two bold architectural statements at either end of a new public plaza. Its form invokes the symbol of infinity, supporting art as an eternal concept. This form also provides the template for the internal circulation route leading visitors down through light-filled gallery and exhibition spaces.

Cool, crisp materials create a sleek exterior and establish the museum as a commanding anchor.
